If you’re looking for a quiet escape tucked away in Vestal, Stair Park is a great spot to unwind. Located at 938 Murray Hill Road, this small town-managed park is open daily from dawn to dusk and is often described as a “hidden gem” by locals. The park is a peaceful getaway not far from the busy Vestal Parkway and Binghamton University.
One of the highlights of Stair Park is Fuller Hollow Creek, which runs right through the park. Along its banks, you’ll find rocky outcroppings and even a small waterfall that adds a relaxing soundtrack to your visit. It’s a simple but beautiful place to enjoy nature, especially in the fall when the leaves are at their peak color.
For families, the park has a playground that keeps younger kids busy, as well as a large picnic pavilion with tables—perfect for snacks or a picnic lunch.
