Talcottville Falls on the Sugar River in Talcottville, NY is a spectacular place to spend a hot afternoon. This waterfall is also known as Sugar River Falls. We saw kids playing in the cool water while the adults sat in the shade with the sound of the roaring water in the background. You can walk to the base of the waterfall and really experience it up close. If you go here, be sure to be careful of slippery rocks and deeper water at the base of the falls.
